Largest Marine Predator

The Eurypterids were among the largest and most fearsome marine predators of Paleozoic era. Some grew to be 10 feet long and had powerful pincers for seizing their prey. Because of their long tails and the spine like appendage at the tip, the eurypterids have been called sea scorpions.
