What makes you to suffocate when you sleep under a tree during night hours?

We all know the fact that plants are also living things and they do respire as we do. Like us, they take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide. But the true concept behind this is a bit different from us. Plants don't do respiration actively all the time, as we know that it has a prime most duty of photosynthesis to prepare food, which is possible only during the day time where solar energy can be harnessed. They take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen through stomata. Only in the night hours the plants cant do photosynthesis and thus actively participate in respiration. Thus they vigorously take in the oxygen from their surroundings and give out carbon dioxide and the surrounding lacks oxygen. Thats why we tend to suffocate when we rest under trees during night hours and not due to ghost which is a myth!!!!
